A clear solvent-borne ready to use wood protection product for exterior wood surfaces from Osmo. The Osmo WR Base Coat (4001) contains active ingredients which are designed to protect against wood rotting and wood staining fungi as well as against wood destroying insects.
The Osmo WR Base Coat prevents swelling and shrinkage and is extremely water repellent. It easily penetrates wood surfaces and gets deep into the different layers of the wood.
The wood preservative solution is moisture-regulating and provides an adhesive surface for subsequent treatment with finishing paints for a top coat. Apply by brush or roller and will become odourless once dry.
